Okay, update...We did the CT-Scan on Tuesday and on Wenesday I spoke with two of the local doctors here, they both said that surgery is a must. The radiologist that looked over the Scan and wrote notes, observed that all of his plates in his head are fused prematurally, he has no soft spots at all. The surgery is pretty envasive, it includes an incision from ear to ear and removing pieces of the skull and using screws to allow the brain to grow with the skull. We meet on Monday in Bend with the Neurosurgeons to discus the operation details and plan it. I'm not sure how many family members still look at the blog but if any of you who do look at this if you could e-mail any family and let them know what is going on, we could use the prayers and faith of all. Feel free to contact me or my parents for more details. Thanks for your prayers and support.

Candace and Darwin,
We are aware of your situation and are praying in all of your behalves. There are 2 families in our ward right now who have newborn babies that are down syndrome. They have been in and out of surgeries most of their short lives. It is amazing to see the hand of God in all of our lives; strengthening and guiding our actions. We love you and hope things go well.
