Dear Family,
Recently, as Chanel stood giving her first ever talk in Sacrament Meeting, the bishop felt inspired that we should fast again for her and get her another priesthood blessing for her Scleraderma.
Accordingly, we are inviting all to join us in fasting and prayer this Sunday, Oct. 14th. Chanel's health has been pretty good lately, but symptoms continue to crop up. In addition to the very poor circulation in her extremities, Chanel's gorgeous singing voice has been stilled by vocal nodules. The doctors are treating the Connective Tissue Disorder with lots of meds. and Chanel has been doing the anti-inflammatory diet as well as exercising her faith in accepting a calling in Cub Scouting, speaking at a fireside, in sacrament meeting, and having her patriarchal blessing. We are grateful that she has responded to experimental treatments that have saved her fingers from amputation, and particularly glad that the disease hasn't invaded her internal organs. Previous priesthood blessings have promised healing.

Thanks for the update. We are happy to fast for Chanel on Sunday. We are sorry to hear of Chanel's challenges but how grateful we are for the strength she is finding in the gospel.
Count me in! And Cub Scouts? How fitting with you as her Mother in Law! Love it!! Give her a big hug for me, Noel too!
Bob and I will definitely join in the fast. I will also put her name on the prayer roll again. Give our love to Chanel and also to Noel.
