Linda called on Friday when I was out and Jennae informed me that, "Aunt Linda called about some dead guy." Turns out it was our old Stake President from Helena, so I thought you might like to know about this. I called Irene Wake and took her to the viewing last night. It was rewarding to see the family and reminisce about the good old days in Montana. Jane was sweet as ever and told Irene how much she appreciated her teaching the Young Women how to lead music. Her husband served a mission in Helena and when I said my name was Macbeth, he said "I ate dinner at the Macbeth's several times!" Bob was there (he was the bishop of our ward here in West Jordan just before Barry and I moved here!) and he asked about everyone of us and the 2 oldest kids remembered Linda, Paul and David. One of the Hyer girls was there, too and President Rossiter's son. They had 3 or 4 big scrapbooks that I remember Sister Dalley keeping with newspaper articles and church programs. One headline from the paper in about 1971 said, "LDS Church elects Dalley." There was also a copy of the cartoon Dad screened for the Bicentennial that had three patriots with a bubble that said, "WAKE up, men! Get a-HOLT of yourselves, and don't DALLEY!" It was good to visit with Irene Wake, too and she asked about all of you, too. Here is the obituary:
