After a delightful conference call this evening with grandma's seven children on Barry's "bridge," here's what we have decided. Please start praying for descent driving weather for a funeral service in Idaho Falls on the 11th of Dec. We are planning on a service here in Seattle on Sat. Dec. 4th at 3:00 in the afternoon with a viewing beforehand. She will be buried in IF the following week after a service at 1:00 in the afternoon. We will either be at the funeral home or a nearby chapel. We would invite all of you to come if you can to where ever you can. And if you can't for whatever reason, please know we understand and love you! However, we are very serious about asking for you to join us in prayer for moderate weather during this time of travel for so many of us. Sunday is Fast Sunday and we hope you might be willing consider it an important matter to include in your fast. I want you all to know how much grandma love all of us. I know her circle seemed to be closing, but there wasn't a birthday that went by that she didn't mention it to me. She may not have communicated with you always but she never missed any one's special event in our conversations. She wasn't great on the phone in the last few years but each of you has been very dear to her. She was a great lady. Not perfect, thank goodness, who could try and measure up to that? But she loved us with all our wrinkles and warts. (Oh, that would be ME!) She loved the rest of you too. Love, Karen I will write down all that happened when I can get the phone off my ear.
