A really clever person in the family suggested that we get a wireless door bell that grandma could use to call me. So we bought one this afternoon and it works like a charm! She pushes a button and it rings a loud door bell upstairs. So I'll make a little pocket for her to wear abound her neck to carry the button in and the second button will stay right by her bed.
