About four weeks left for Elder Pelton:  No address yet!
Hello from the great valley of NAPA!!!!!
i couldnt get to email last week due to transfers and now i am a Zone leader in Napa so you stay really busy all day and it is a challenge to find any time to do anything. Napa is awesome i have not seen to much of the vineyards yet but i am sure i will on one of the next up coming Pdays. there are some really cool people that we are working with here and i still havent met to many of the people we work with but i will this coming week. my new companion is really cool his name is Elder Johansen he is from Salt Lake and has been out about a year i think, he is awesome has a great desire to serve, really cool guy, and is great at teaching and i am glad to have him as my last companion for my last transfer. it is so crazy that i am at this point, what made it evcen worse was earlier this week one of the spanish sisters in our Zone went home and her family came and picked her up from there apartment and some we had to be there cause her family brought stuff for another elder in the zone who is from the same area the sister is from. so we got to see them meet for the first time and i was so crazy to me cause that is 5 weeks away and i was getting a little teary eyed just watching and it not really cool to see but at the same time really nerve racking. but i am excited for this transfer and all that will come from it. it feels really weird to be te oldest missionary in the whole mission now even more that the misssion president, it makes me feel old. but all at the samt time i dont feel that old, but everyone seems to think i am old. and they tell me that i am going to be "trunky"in other words i am going to be think ing of home a lot. that is not true that is the last thing on my mind.
the other cool thing about serving here is that i cover a singles branch and the members that come are so cool they all served missions or are about to go on a mission. we just listened to a kid give his departing talk on sunday and wow he is going to be an awesome missionary. he is going to nebraska and one of the elders i new a couple months ago that i served around helped this kid come back to church and got him excited to go on a mission. it was cool to meet both of them and hear the story from both perspectives. the members in the ward that i cover as well have a bunch of old people in it so it is funny to see the comparison between a ysa branch and a ward. i love them all they are so cool and i cant wait to get to know them all this uncoming transfer. this is a really interesting area i am in cause we cover a ward and a ysa branch which covers napa, vallejo, and benica so we sometimes do a lot of driving to those towns and work down there. it is fun though i get to meet a bunch of people.
it is really exciting to see the gosple change lives as you teach the doctrine really simply so that people can understand us. our mission president has really put the stress on using the pamphlets cause they make everything clear for everyone and so i have been studying those and wow they are really good i have learned a lot just from those. it has also help me know what to use in them when we are going over the pamphlet whith our investigaotrs and others on the street. life is great when it is simple and you live the gospel.

keep it real, keep it simple

i love all of you cant wait to hear from you.

Love from
Elder Pelton

Please let us know when he is back so we can come up and visit! I know it would be an awesome opportunity for Vince to talk with him about things!
