A letter from Andrew:
This week has again been a very slow week with finding new people and teaching, but we made the best of it. We did pick up this really cool family on Friday. We had gone tracting about two weeks ago and when this pregnant lady came to the door and we said our little speech, she said we could come back. The next week we came back but she wasn't home. We left a note saying we would try back the next week. We did and she was just leaving to take her son to the doctors. We set up a time to come back this past Thursday and she was not home again.
We stopped by Friday and she was home and all the kids were making a mess around the house and she let us in. She has a 15 year old son, a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old son who is sick. She was overwhelmed by all the things she has to do because her husband does not do very much to help around the house or with the kids. Her oldest son helps out a lot. So we taught her about the Plan of Salvation and a little on the Restoration. She was very interested and wants us to come back. She is looking for a closer church to go to so she can save some money instead of driving an hour every week.
We did get to teach that awesome less active guy and his family and it was awesome. All the kids sat there and listened to everything we said and his wife liked what we said as well. We got to watch the restoration video with them and they liked it a lot. We stopped by again yesterday and said hi. His wife has been reading everyday and has liked it a lot. It is so awesome to see how the Lord prepares people to learn about the gospel.
That has ben the excitement for the week other than the struggles with my companion. but I love this work and I love all of you. Andrew
