FAMILY REUNION NEWS FLASH!!
http://bigo.byu.edu:8085/MRP-NANW/Camps.jsp?menuSelect=about&campSelect=8
That is the link to the Zion Camp website.
Thurs. July 22nd, check-in from 1 PM--to Sat. July 24th, check out by 11 AM--
The mattress/bed scenario is good--but folks will need bedding or sleeping bags--warm ones for the humidity in the woods. . . It may feel cold to the Utah crowd.
The activities include--hiking, fishing (barb-less hooks, no license necessary), archery, baseball, paddle boats, canoes, horseshoes, etc.
Let us know if there are requests for specific activities, special dietary needs.
When do people plan to arrive in the area--and leave, in other words: Who's planning to go to the beach, or to Seattle, or Canada, before or after?
Richard says Westport or Ocean Shores are the best beach runs from Shelton--in the neighborhood of an hour's drive from Shelton.
Olympia is nearby--to see the state capitol, museums, etc.
Tacoma is close with excellent sights to see: Glass museum and Washington State Historical Museum, plus the zoo, and Fort Nisqually on the same site---
Seattle: Do we need to tell you how great it is ???
And we'd be happy to let folks sleep at our house if we know when---
Love,
Laura

Or you could travel a little farther SOUTH and come to PORTLAND!!
We're super excited! Still trying to work out logistics of how soon we're coming out, but we'll be there! (at least me and the kids - Rob's work schedule may not allow him to come)
we can't get there until late thursday, but we want to stay in the area--possibly staying w/ someone in seattle??--until monday or early morning tuesday.
