Barry had his left shoulder repaired yesterday. The Dr. said it wore him out! He said if Barry had postponed it for even a few months, they would not have been able to fix it, but all is well now with three anchors and lots of scraping bone spurs off. One good thing is that Barry has no signs of arthritis in his shoulders! He got out of surgery about 5 p.m., but had some trouble waking up fully, so they decided to keep him overnight as a safety precaution. I brought him home just before noon and he is sleeping again...so now the boredom of recovery begins! This is a picture of what he did for us before the surgery...now we have running water in our finished "theater room" downstairs! I so love having a handy husband!

For a lame old guy, he really does beautiful work. I hope the surgeon did as well for him as he deserves! And aren't we glad he didn't put it off.
Glad to hear that things went well. I just hope he doesn't drive you crazy while he recovers!
Awesome room - does he want to come to Portland and help with our "Man Cave"?
We should create a roving team of all these talented people in our family to come and help us all!! (Well, at least those of us who need help!) With a great crew here, it'd probably only take them 6 months of 24/7 to whip my house in shape :)
Hye, Barry also did a little work in his "Man Cave" - mostly straightening up and clearing out old parts and pieces of sheetrock!
