Since you are so far away, we have to trust that Trina and your sweet family are taking good care of you today. If you were here, we'd throw a BBQ in the backyard, with hamburgers and potato chips and strawberry short cake for dessert with .... plenty (?) of candles on it. (Oh, it's OK. You're not nearing as old as Eric!!)

It's funny that you're all talking about "old" when the little guy who had the birthday (Alan) just turned 'one'!!! So I dare say Trina really took good care of him on his birthday! Oh, won't we be glad when her blog is up and running again?! Joseph is building them a computer that will have a little speed to it, so as soon as he can get that to them, we will begin to get some posts again. Trina's and Robert's current computer is just too old and too slow to do much.
Karen, you're the best! I think it is wonderful of you to remember everyone on their birthday. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
