Here are some pictures of our Memorial Day Weekend outing. We drove down to Richfield and stayed in a hotel on Friday. Saturday mornign we went to Fremont Indian State Park and got out the ATV's and went for a ride. It was spitting rain when we left, and about two thirds of the way around the loop, it was really raining! We got soaked, but we saw some beautiful country. I even saw a sego lily-the Utah state flower. Then we loaded up the ATV's and drove over to Monroe, UT and visited the Mystic Hot Springs. It was a hoot--and it felt good after the rainy ride!

Looks like you all had a great time! Oregon has an abundance of hot springs, but some of them are clothing optional ;-)

How do you find places like that? I've never even heard of Monroe, UT. And where were all the other visitors or did you have the place to yourselves?

We almost had the place to ourselves--there was one other family and a couple of random guys. One of the teachers at Riverside is from Monroe, so she told me about it--I'm always on the look out for weird places to visit, like Carhenge. They actually have books about strange places to visit at the library (or online).
