We had a great celebration of Grandma's birthday today. It was the highlight of our snow day. It looks like we have 8 or 10 inches in our yard and still snowing, so Church was canceled again today. Laura and Richard and kids braved the snow in their 4 wheel drive to come over for dinner and birthday cake. Mom is doing pretty well. We took her out for a blood draw and lunch on Friday before the deep snow really arrived. She's getting pretty thin so we do our best to make her things she'll eat and we nag her constantly to drink more water. The hand warmers were a huge hit and I don't think she'll ever leave home without them again. I got her a new skirt that she won't trip over. Everything is so big on her that her skirts hang down too far. One week, one of them just dropped her off her hips as she was walking down the hall to RS. Oh, to have such problems!! Well, we think she had a happy birthday and I know she loved hearing from all of you.
