We had a great visit to New Hampshire to see Rob and family and
Albany, NY to see Bonnie and Ben. It was fun to do Halloween with Claire and Ian. She looked much better in my costume than I did. You can see the "peacock" on Juliann's blog...it was amazing!

We had a great time in Albany for Ben's birthday, too.
Notice the look on Claire's face when Ben said he could eat it all.

We walked around the capitol and
visited the outside of the Shaker Farm. Albany isn't a hotbed of tourist activities in the late fall. The kids would have been happy to stay at the hotel in the pool, but we left Rob and Juliann there (again...check Juliann's blog :) and Al and I took the kids home. Bonnie and Ben found their way back to Syracuse but liked Albany enough to consider job hunting there when they finish school.

We are back with enough baby germs to leave us with lingering head colds, but we're happy we got the chance to go.
