Just a quick update. . . They sent Porter home today!!! The doctors and nurses all said that Porter is doing so well. That they have never seen a baby that has handled the surgery so well and recovered so quickly. So tomorrow morning they are heading home. They have to go back to Portland on the 12th for a follow up.
When Candace told me what the doctors and nurses said I knew that it was the priesthood blessings, the prayers and fasting that helped Porter have such a successful surgery and recovery. They of course still have many trials ahead of them but the "big one" I think is over!Thanks again. Jessica
