A letter from Andrew:
This past week has be very humbling for me and I am truly grateful that it has happened at this time in my life. I have been spiritually nourished by one of our Lord's special witnesses. We had the wonderful opportunity to hear L. Tom Perry speak to us as a mission along with the Oakland mission this past Wednesday and it was amazing. As soon as he stepped into the room you could feel the spirit and authority that he had. It was absolutely amazing how suddenly I could feel it. We also heard from Elder Maynes of the Seventy. It was amazing to hear them and their wives speak to us. They are very inspired and know how to motivate someone to work harder and find ways to better ourselves as missionaries. They talked about how we need to reach out to those that are Less Active in the Ward and how we need to focus on them to find people to teach, while we search for those that are searching for the truth. As priesthood holders, we are responsible to teach people and use it to our fullest. That is what Elder Perry talked about. Elder Maynes covered a lot about how we are, in some way, connected to someone's conversion story and that we need to do all we can to be worthy of the spirit so that we can plan to be in the right place to find those that are search for truth, but don't know where to find it. Their wives talked a lot about obedience and how that is related to the spirit. I loved every minute of what they had to say to us and it helped me find a way to work more effectively. We have been trying very hard to find ways to find more people, but we have had a lot of challenges that are making it very difficult to do that. There are no really cool stories that I have at the moment, but soon we will. Transfers are coming up in two weeks so it will be interesting to see what happens. I love you all.
Elder Pelton

Andrew actually has a very cool story to share. I just need permission to publish it.
Stay tuned :) kp
