Oops! I have more time! I will tell all y'all a little more about my week haha! Not a whole lot happened (there were miracles but little day to day miracles).
This week we had exchanges with the Sister Training leaders! My LAST EXCHANGE! It was way fun because it was Sister Uffins FIRST exchange! She has never been an STL before! SO we just had fun! I stayed in long beach which was kind of rough because I have only been here for two weeks! But we went and saw a bunch of less actives and people who used to be taught by the missionaries! I love Sister Uffins so much! She is one of those people that are truly pure in heart! I swear that girl says a prayer about every ten minutes! So much fun! After our day of hard work we put our fat pants on and made enchiladas and ate ice cream while we watched How Rare a Possession The Book of Mormon!
Halloween we went to Gulfport to help a blind sister in our ward hang up pictures, she is so funny! At Church when she asked us she told us "I would hang the pictures up myself but I would probably hang them up upside down!. But when we got to Gulfport we were put on tornado watch! So as instructed we went and sat in the hallways of the church and did some planning! We were allowed to go eat with some members....AND THEN......FOOD POISONING! I am pretty sure which member it was! But anyway, Sister Elms woke up and said "How did you sleep?" hahah not so good!
So Sunday I snuck a barf bucket into church, but I had to get up and leave during the sacrament hymn. I came out of the bathroom just as the deacon walked back into the chapel and I got really upset that I didn't get to take the sacrament and walked over to the foyer where Sister Elms was waiting, and she had saved me a piece of bread and a cup of water! I couldn't remember if that counted or what. But the Spirit said it was okay, and I was so happy! I love that girl! She is so sweet and thoughtful always trying to serve and take care of me!
It has been overcast and rainy all week and Sister Elms and I have boo hooing about how it looks JUST LIKE WASHINGTON! So fun being companions with a Washingtonian! We forgot to change our clocks for daylight savings time so we showed up at church an hour early haha!
I love being a missionary and cannot wait to go with my husband on a million senior missions! (that is the only thing preventing me from crying everyday) I love the gospel and I know that this is Christs church restored once more to the earth!
Love y'all!
Sister White
All of our halloween candy from members!
We tried to go to an instacare, I endured a twenty minute car ride for a wheelchair supply company in the ghetto!
