So on Labor Day this year, we went camping in a lodge up Logan Canyon. It was easier than getting the trailer all ready to go and the lodge had a nice outdoor fire pit and we could ride our ATVs right out of the parking lot! They also offered horseback riding - score one for Aubrey, who has wanted to  go horseback riding for...EVER! So we took a one  hour ride up on the hillside in the background of this lovely photo. It was fun and if any of you want to know, one hour is definitely sufficient for those who don't ride regularly! Barry had a horse that farted the whole time, so that was pretty funny.
Then Aubrey started a conversation about "wanting a horse..."

Fast forward to last week when Barry too me to Maui to celebrate our 25th Anniversary - a milestone!  It was beautiful, relaxing, humid, fun, humid, refreshing, humid, delightful, and did I say humid? We had a great time in spite of that!

So, back to the horse conversation - we found the greatest thing in a store in

Ulupalakua which is on the road to Hana. We had to get them for Aubrey!
