Aunt Elsie called me today with the news that our uncle 
Major Macbeth's wife died this week.
Here is the obituary from the Salt Lake Tribune:

1926 - 2014
Beloved Mother, YiaYia, GiGi and Dear Friend, Gweneth passed away peacefully and gracefully in her sleep at home September 29th 2014.
Born January 3, 1926 to Paul V. and Cleo L. Kelly. She resided in Salt Lake City the majority of her life and was an active member of Wasatch Presbyterian Church.
Mom enjoyed her travels overseas and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughters. She loved sharing her life stories.
Survived by children: Sandra Macbeth Katris, Kelly M. Macbeth and Kevin W. Macbeth; three grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
Memorial service Saturday, October 4th, 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Presbyterian Church, 1626 So. 1700 E, where friends may call 1 hour prior. Interment at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wasatch Presbyterian Church.

 I never quite understood the details of their relationship - I thought they were married but then divorced so they could pay lower taxes...I really don't know, but Sandy and her brothers are our cousins!
