Grandma has been helping with a quilt started by a woman in our ward who has passed away. She volunteered to bind the edges after she cleaned up all the poor stitches on the back of the quilt. It's king size so it's been quite the project. Nobody else in the ward would take it. She only has the corners left to miter.

Sounds like the perfect project for grandma! I sure love that lady!! Do you need someone to go pick her and LeeAnn, John and baby Tate from the airport? I can go get them if you need me to!

My goodness, that's a great task! While I was in Boston I visited the New England Quilt Museum with my mom-in-law. They were featuring quilts from the late 1800's - mostly Amish and Mennonite - it's amazing the amount of dedication quilting takes. I don't have the patience!
