Here he is! Thanks for posting the info. earlier mom. We were happy to have this baby born! My doctor now wishes that he'd induced me earlier too. We're just glad he's here now and are trying to get used to having two children. He's a lot like Savannah--lots of dark hair and yellow skin. We had to have him on lights at the hospital and at home just like her, but he's getting better now. Both Savannah and Bryce are ultra-protective of him and fight about who's baby he is. I get to try to keep the peace between them while silently knowing that he's really my baby. After all that I had to go through with him, nobody else has any valid claims on him. We all sure love him though!

What a sweetheart. And all that hair-that is just something I'm sure my babies will never have. I'm glad you're doing well.

Holy cow look at all that hair. Our kids take a good 2 1/2 years to grow that much hair! What a cute little boy.

Congratulations! From what I heard, you deserve to own him totally!! That's always what I loved about middle of the night feedings...I didn't have to share the baby! May you heal quickly! Love to all. KP

I don't know if you'll check these comments again Jessica, but I don't think everyone would appreciate all the details on the main blog. I was pushing for an hour 20 min. When his head was finally coming out I had another wave of nausea. The cord had slipped around his neck and they were working to get it free when I started throwing up and the force of it pushed him right out. But, it was so sudden and violent that he ripped me up badly. The doctor used 8 suture kits to stitch me back up. We weren't expecting him to be so huge, and since Savannah was a c-section my body wasn't prepared to handle that big of a baby. But, they got him breathing just fine and my doctor says that considering everything, my body is healing nicely now.

Oh my goodness. . .that's sounds like that was lots of fun. I hope you heal quickly and well. It is so hard to have a new baby and not be able to "bounce" back like you'd like to.
