Some of us Macbeth women just had the most fabulous couple of days in Idaho Falls/Rigby/Rexburg! Karen, Grace, LeeAnn (and Tate, of course) drove down to pick up Lauren from school, so Carla and I met them so we could see everyone. We had a blast!
There was a lot of catching up and reminiscing with Aunt June, Aunt Nedine, cousins Debbie and Jennie; seeing June's new condo and Bart and Nedine's new house and the "man cave" [at least they were new to me]; eating way too much good food. We also went to a session at the Rexburg Temple and were appropriately impressed with Leon Parson's artwork in the ordinance rooms.
And right before we had to leave for home we got to visit with Benjamin and Heather, who are moving soon into a bigger place so there will be room for a baby. They are planning on coming to the reunion, so we'll get to see "her" then.
All in all, it was a great time. I highly recommend that we all take every opportunity to visit kin and keep the family ties strong. Those memories will be precious. I hope to see you all at the reunion in July!

Ditto!! Even putting 1600 miles on the van, the last 800 loaded to the gills with college girls and their STUFF, a baby and a great grandma, we had a nice drive home. No snowstorms on the way back. Visited with Paul and Diann and Mindy and Toni, even got to see John. Spent a few minutes reminding them how the blog works :) Maybe I should say something outrageous and see if they've figured it out well enough to refute my lie!! I'll think on that. Tonight we're having Big Judd burgers courtesy of two large buns hauled home with us since Andrew and John didn't get to come and eat them in person in Rexburg. Drop by if you're in the neighborhood!
