Here are some pictures of the freakish spring weather that we have been having here in the Pacific Northwest. It has been a little strange to go from a sunny February to a SNOWY March! The girls thought that since they had already had their swimsuits on to play outside in (it was sunny that day, not exactly warm...), they shouldn't have to not wear them again, even in the snow!
This first picture is Erin. She got a "little freezing" so I told her to come and put on some warm clothes. So she did. A had and gloves. That's all. Well, I guess it's said you lose 90% of your heat through you head, so she covered right?

This one is a picture of Alix who decided that cold-weather gear entailed a hat, gloves, a coat, and panties and Dora sandals. Well, once again, I guess she's got her head covered... They would get cold, come in for a while and warm up, have some hot chocolate, go back outside, come back inside, have more cocoa, go back out, come back in, more cocoa... I think they figured out a pretty slick system for getting A LOT of hot chocolate! But what a fun day!
Tom and Brooke built this monstrosity of a snowman. Brooke is inside (drinking hot chocolate!) at this point and Tom had to finish on his own. (Brooke was actually wearing winter clothes by the way. Even pants!)
This is just a picture for fun of when we went skiing a couple of weeks ago. Brooke and Erin loved it! Alix was willing to try, but wouldn't get on twice! Brooke got to spend the night with her Grandma Beth and Grandpa Alby and to up to the ski hill with them and then we met them up there.

Oh, and in baby news... We are having........... either a boy or a girl! Big news huh? They couldn't tell what it was. Good look inbetween the legs, just nothing visible, so they think due to a lack of "evidence" that it is probably a girl. Of course it is. I'm hoping for another ultrasound to maybe get a better look... I'll keep you posted. But for sure, It's a baby. I guess that's good news...

April, you obviously don't remember from last time, that you use CARROTS for the nose of a snowman, not celery. Looks like a lot of fun, though. It was sad to go from weather in the 60's to a couple inches of snow. I am ready for warm.

Apparently we only eat carrots and not much celery, since we never actually have carrots in the fridge. Just lonely, limp celery...
