Hello! News from the Jones house! Since the middle of December, Jordan and I have been involved with something that will not only effect our lives, but it will affect the lives of those around us, and it will affect the life of someone we don't even know yet! All by letting a puppy into our home for 14 months. But how does letting a puppy into your home affect so many people you say? I will tell you how. It will not just be some puppy. It will be a puppy who will grow up to become a Guide Dog for the Blind! That's right, Jordan and I will be taking a brand new puppy (well, 8 weeks old) into our home for 14 months, and we will be responsible for raising it, and getting it used to being around other people and other animals. Once it is four months, we will basically be taking the puppy with us every where we go. After the 14 months with us, the puppy is taken back to California (Guide Dog for the Blinds main hub) and it will go into formal training and then it will be paired up with a blind companion, who will then go into training with the dog, and then when the dog graduates, Jordan and I have the opportunity of going to California and presenting our puppy to its blind companion, or as they call it, the puppy's graduation! Yes giving up the puppy will be hard, but it will be way worth it!
We don't have our puppy yet, it will be coming to us on April 11th! Call it a late anniversary present!
If any of you have any questions, feel free too email me, or post them and I will respond! brendasue2003@gmail.com
Love you all!!
Pictures will be coming soon of our little friend! And possibly some of the two of us, maybe once we have a puppy I will be able to convince Jordan to take pictures of US!

I wanted to tell you that I met a gal this weekend that was involved in this program - she even knew that you'd probably be getting your puppy from "the puppy truck" in April!
Yeah? They have a campus in Boring Oregon. Thats interesting that she knows we're getting a puppy. Our papers haven't even been sent in I don't think. Whats her name? It's a small world after all!
