The weather here is crazy! It has been sunny all winter and has not rained since I left Crescent City. It is awesome! The temperature is nice and the sky is clear. Things have been going really well for me and I have been truly humbled since I have gotten here to Fairfield. It is awesome.. and.. difficult. We have a few people that we are teaching and it is going really well with them and one of them is going to get baptized at the end of March. I am so excited for her. The gospel has truly changed her life in the three times that we have taught her. Ican't wait to see what else will come down the road while I am here. My guess is I won't be here for very long, but it will be fun to see the change from when we first got here to when I leave. I love seeing the change in people and the area. It makes me feel like I am actually doing something while I am out here.
I am sorry for the short letter last week. We had to do it at a member's house. This past week we had a leadership meeting and we had the chance to hear from President Bunker's son about what it was like when he was on a mission and how it affected him in his life. The things he said touched my heart so much that I have changed my entire attitude about why I am out on my mission and what motivates me to work hard. Things that he said have motivated me to work harder and help my companions work harder as well, because when the companionship is working together, miracles happen. I love having a companion that loves to work. Elder Foyston, right now has trouble understanding the sacredness of his calling a a missionary and I am trying to help him see the importance of being exactly obedient and not being too casual around other people. I am sorry for all these short emails. I can never remember what things to talk about until I am signed off and down the road aways, but I love you all. You are all an example to me and keep me going. Thank you for everything.
